Hi, I’m Stephanie. I’ve spent over 25 years in the restaurant business, doing a little bit of everything along the way. I’ve worked front of house, back of house, and all the jobs people forget about until they need doing. More than 20 of those years were spent cooking in kitchens, and for the last 13, I’ve run my own restaurant.

What We Do Here

Mighty Cooks exists because I got tired of cooking advice that wastes your time. You shouldn’t have to scroll through a novel to find one useful tip, and home cooking doesn’t need to feel harder than it is.

Here, I share restaurant shortcuts, practical kitchen hacks, and real-world cooking advice that can make your time in the kitchen easier and a lot more enjoyable. I’ll probably also share a few restaurant stories along the way, because if you’ve worked in this business long enough, you collect some truly unbelievable ones.

I want this to be useful, honest, and occasionally funny, because cooking should feed you, not frustrate you.
