Rubbermaid DuraLite Bakeware Review
Lightweight, Practical, and Worth the Price

Rubbermaid is one of those brands I use all the time in my restaurant, and they make far more commercial kitchen products than most people realize. Overall, I’m a fan. I found this DuraLite bakeware set a few years ago during an Amazon rabbit hole session and decided to give it a try.
After using it, I can say it does a lot of things well. If you want bakeware that is lightweight, durable, easy to store, and nice enough to go from oven to table, Rubbermaid DuraLite is a solid option.
What I Like About Rubbermaid DuraLite Bakeware
What stood out to me right away was how lightweight these dishes are. They are noticeably lighter than other glass baking dishes I’ve used, including Anchor and Pyrex. Even though they look a little delicate, they have held up surprisingly well for me.
I also like that they come with lids, because leftovers are basically a lifestyle at my house. The pieces also nest together nicely, which makes them easier to store than bulkier bakeware sets.
According to the product description, they are BPA-free, oven-safe up to 550 degrees, microwave-safe, and broiler-safe. I have not personally pushed them to their limits in every category, but based on my experience, they have been reliable for normal kitchen use.

What I Don’t Like
The downsides are mostly practical ones. The lids do not fit the way you might expect, and they are not airtight, even though they have tabs to help keep them closed. If you are looking for a truly leak-proof storage solution, this probably is not it.
Since the dishes are glass, they can also break if dropped or exposed to sudden temperature swings. That is not unique to Rubbermaid, but it is still worth keeping in mind. They are also not nonstick, so you will want to use cooking spray, butter, or oil before baking.
Is Rubbermaid DuraLite Bakeware Worth It?

I am not going to lie to you and tell you that buying Rubbermaid DuraLite is going to save you a ton of money. Depending on where you shop, it is priced roughly the same as Pyrex, and usually more expensive than Anchor, which I also think is a very good value for the price.
That said, I do think DuraLite is worth the price. The lighter weight, included lids, and nesting design make it convenient to use and easy to live with, especially if you use baking dishes often.
While writing this, I looked up current prices because I honestly could not remember how they compared. I did see a listing on Temu for about half the price of other online retailers. I am not going to pretend I know whether that listing is legitimate. It is Temu, so make of that what you will.
Final Thoughts
The bottom line is that Rubbermaid DuraLite bakeware is worth the price. It looks nice, works well, and can go in the fridge, oven, or microwave. It also pulls double duty as a serving dish, assuming you are not a complete savage who eats standing in her kitchen.
If you want bakeware that is lighter than traditional glass dishes, easy to store, and dependable for everyday use, Rubbermaid DuraLite is a good buy.
